The wrong shape bra can pull your shoulders forward and:

  •  Create poor posture
  • Effect your form while exercising
  • Decrease your ability to take a deep breath

If they are too tight around the ribcage they will restrict the movement of your ribs and spine.


If your straps are too tight and are leaving a mark on your shoulders this will also affect your posture.


Here are some examples of ones to avoid: If the straps cross tightly over the upper part of your back it will pull your shoulders forward.
