Frequently Asked Questions

What happens on my first visit?

Your first appointment lasts up to an hour. We take a detailed case history, examine your muscles, joints, and nerves (orthopaedic and neurological tests), and perform a detailed postural analysis (including photos), so we’ve got a clear picture of what’s going on. We’ll refer you for X-rays if it’s clinically relevant. At your second appointment, we walk you through what we found, explain what is going on with your body, and recommend a customised care plan.

How much does it cost?

Your initial consultation and report of findings are £120 in total, which covers both of your first two appointments. Ongoing adjustments are £70 for existing patients, or £61-£65 per adjustment if you purchase one of our care packages.

Will the adjustments hurt?

Most people find them comfortable, and many tell us they feel a bit lighter or more upright afterward. We’ll always explain what we’re doing before we do it and work at a pace that’s right for you. If anything ever feels off or you have any questions, just let us know. We’re always happy to help and adjust.

How many sessions will I need?

This depends on your body, your history, and what you’re hoping to achieve. We won’t know until we’ve examined you. Based on your report of findings, we’ll talk you through a recommended plan, so you know what to expect (and with no obligation to proceed).

Do I need a referral from my GP?

No, chiropractic care is a primary healthcare profession, so you can book in with us directly.

I'm not sure you can help me. What should I do?

Book a free discovery call. In this 15-20-minute chat, you can tell us what’s going on and ask any questions you might have, as well as determine if we’re a good fit.

Do I need X-rays?

We only take X-rays when clinically necessary. If your practitioner feels imaging is needed to confirm a diagnosis or shape your treatment plan, we’ll discuss it with you at your initial consultation.

If you’ve had relevant imaging within the last 5 years, it could help your practitioner; we recommend sending it to us for our review before your first visit. A separate provider takes X-rays, and a full spine X-ray costs £150.

What should I wear, and do I need to do anything beforehand?

Keep it simple! Wear something comfortable that you can move in, but not too baggy. We do all assessments and adjustments fully clothed, so we recommend short sleeves and shorts or leggings. We’ll ask you to remove outdoor jackets and shoes during your appointments. Please avoid thick or hooded jumpers, short skirts, or tight shirts, as these can make it difficult for us to carry out your treatment.

We’ll also send a new patient form to complete online before you arrive, so on the day, all you need to do is turn up ready to learn a few things about your body.

What if I can't find an appointment time online?

We’re a small, specialist clinic, so there’s occasionally a short waiting list for new patients. If you can’t see a time that works, get in touch, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you. As you begin your treatment, more time slots will be available for adjustments.

What's your cancellation policy?

We ask for 48 hours’ notice to change or cancel. The £120 consultation fee is taken when you book; if it’s missed or cancelled within 48 hours, it’s charged at 50%, and adjustments at the full amount. Outside that window, we’re very flexible; just let us know, and we’ll do our best to rearrange things.

Where are you based, and is there parking?

We’re located in Finsbury Park, North London, which is just a short walk from Finsbury Park station (Victoria and Piccadilly lines), with plenty of buses nearby. There’s no on-site parking, but paid parking is available on the surrounding streets. If there are no paid-for parking options opposite our building, we recommend using the local supermarket car parks, such as Waitrose or Morrisons. Please give yourself at least 15 minutes to walk over before your appointment.
