Posture correction in London
Have you ever wondered how to fix your posture and eliminate your poor postural habits? Pain occurs when we overload our bodies with stress and pressure from daily life. Correcting and improving your posture will enable you to feel and function better.

You don't have to be in pain to care about your posture
Some people come to us because of pain that keeps coming back. Others have noticed something in the mirror or in photographs: a head that sits further forward, rounded shoulders, a body that looks less balanced than it used to, and they want to do something about it before it progresses.
Whichever it is, your health is our priority, and we understand the frustrations that come with your body failing you. We are experts specialising in a technique called Advanced Biostructural Correction (ABC™), helping people get out of pain and live their life to the fullest.
Posture patterns we correct
- Forward head posture or 'tech neck'
- Rounded shoulders
- Anterior pelvic tilt
- A visible neck or upper-back hump
- One shoulder sitting higher than the other
- Uneven hips or standing differently on one side
A posture change that bothers you, even if you are not in pain
Posture is more than 'sitting up straight'
Through everyday wear and tear, your bones may become stuck forward in a position the body cannot self-correct, largely because there are no muscles to pull them back. When this happens, the body compensates and twists up, placing unnecessary stress and tension on your muscles, joints, and nerves. No amount of willpower fixes that.
Anything from major accidents or injuries such as car accidents, trips and falls to the day-to-day poor postural habits such as prolonged sitting at poor desk setups, heavy bags, and unsuitable footwear causes our bodies to compensate after pushing us forward.

How we correct posture
We are a chiropractic clinic, and at Posture & Wellness we use ABC™. It works by correcting only the bones that have shifted forward and that the body can't self-correct on its own. As a result, the body settles back into alignment, posture improves, and function is restored.
The effects of ABC™ are often visible and felt immediately. We also take digital postural photos to track results and record the body's changes, so you can see your progress for yourself.
What happens at your initial consultation
Step 1: A detailed case history
Your chiropractor will take a detailed case history, asking questions that help build a complete picture of your body and your health.
Step 2: A thorough examination
A comprehensive physical examination, including orthopaedic, neurological, and chiropractic tests, to assess your muscles, joints, and nerves.
Step 3: Detailed postural photos
We'll also take postural photos so you have a clear starting point to track your progress. This appointment lasts up to an hour.
Step 4: Your report of findings
At your second visit your chiropractor will walk you through everything they found and explain what's going on in your body in a way that makes sense. Together, you'll discuss a recommended care plan with no obligation to proceed. If it's appropriate for you to start care and you're happy with the recommended plan, your first adjustment can take place at this appointment.

How long does posture correction take?
This depends on your body, your history, and what you're hoping to achieve. We won't know until we've examined you. Based on your report of findings, we'll talk you through a recommended plan, so you know what to expect (and with no obligation to proceed).
This treatment is not a “quick fix” but we consistently help patients overcome their pain and long-term health conditions by identifying and correcting the underlying causes.
Structural correction is for you if…
You want to correct the underlying cause of your pain. You want to restore your body's function and movement. You want to start reaching your health goals.
We are committed to educating you on all aspects of postural health and wellbeing, so you understand your body and know how to look after your posture in everyday life.
Before and after

Patient story
“Can't recommend Bianca and the team at Posture and Wellness enough!
The progress I have seen in the past 7 weeks of me visiting has been amazing!
I looked into visiting a chiropractor because of my bad posture and because I sometimes find myself walking inwards and getting hip pain. Bianca is so knowledgeable and explained to me that a lot of my other symptoms (that I thought were unrelated) would improve through adjustments, I am headache free for a month now which is huge for me! The staff are all so friendly and you always feel reassured and welcome, everything is explained in detail throughout your unwinding journey so you're always clued up and you become more aware of your own body. You have photos taken to prove your progress and you always have advice and tips available to you. Very excited for my first progress report this week! Thank you Bianca and team!”
Frequently asked questions
Can a chiropractor help with posture?
Yes. At Posture & Wellness we are the experts in posture correction, and we use ABC™ to get to the root cause rather than chase the symptom.
Is 30 or 40 too late to work on my posture?
No. Through everyday wear and tear, bones can become stuck forward at any age, and ABC™ works on the structure itself rather than on how old you are. Book a free discovery call and tell us what you have noticed.
Do I need to be in pain?
No. Plenty of people come to us because of how their posture looks, or because they want to look after their body for the long term.
Will the adjustments hurt?
Most people find them comfortable, and many tell us they feel a bit lighter or more upright afterward. We'll always explain what we're doing before we do it and work at a pace that's right for you.
Do posture correctors or braces work?
A brace holds you in a position; it does not correct the bones that have shifted forward. Read our guide before you buy one.
