Understanding posture problems
Posture is how your body holds itself when you sit, stand and move. It is not one perfect position to hold all day.
What matters is the pattern you have noticed, whether it is getting worse, whether it hurts, and what is driving it.
Posture patterns you might have noticed

- Anterior pelvic tilt, where the pelvis tips forwards
- Forward head posture or 'tech neck'
- Rounded shoulders
- A rounded upper back or hunchback
- A hump at the base of the neck (dowager's hump)
- One shoulder higher than the other
- Uneven hips, or standing heavily on one side
- Sitting posture that collapses through the day
Posture is not about standing up straight
Your body is meant to move. Holding one 'correct' position all day is as tiring as slumping, and it does not fix what is underneath.
Posture is held by your bones, not your willpower. Bones get stuck forward in a position the body cannot self-correct, because no muscles pull them back. The body compensates and twists up. ABC™ corrects those bones so the body settles back into alignment.
